There are many ways you can express your concerns about your experience with OATC.
Step 1. If you are a client of OATC, we encourage you to communicate with the staff at your clinic, your ccm or your physician. If you are not a client but wish to relay a concern, please proceed to step 3.
Step 2. If you are dissatisfied with the outcome of your contact at the clinic level, you may request to have your concern escalated to a manager. Our managers will review and take ownership of resolving your complaint.
Step 3. If steps 1 and 2 have been documented and you still require escalation, please request contact with the Director of Operations.
Please note the Director of Operations will only review escalations that have gone through steps 1 and 2 above. Most concerns are resolved before they reach this step; however, if you are still dissatisfied with the outcome of your complaint after Step 2, you may contact the Director of Operations by leaving a message at head office or contacting us by email or mail.
The Director of Operations will review your inquiry and respond within 72 hours. If we are unable to meet this deadline, we will contact you to advise when you can expect a response. Please note that the Director of Operation cannot reverse any medical decision made with respect to your care by your physician.

As per a provision of the Personal Health Information Act, OATC is required to treat all personal health information as confidential and must maintain its security. As such, OATC will not respond to individual treatment requests, missed appointments, appointment changes etc. Please refer to the steps outlined under Compliments and Concerns for further information.
